Senior Lecturer with a focus on strategic change and sustainability, University of Lincoln
Andy has more than 30 years’ experience as a manager in a number of organisations across the public and private sector. He teaches across a range of subjects in the field of organisation and management, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, with a particular focus on strategic change and sustainability.
His research explores sustainability from the perspective of the societal and organisational transitions required to address global challenges and social problems that are currently impacting on human and ecological well-being. His work adopts a critical mode of enquiry in that it seeks to identify the underlying drivers and systemic causes of present-day unsustainability.
He also teaches and researches in the area of collaboration and organisational networks, modes of organising that are essential for addressing the multiple crises facing contemporary society.
Rebecca Mills

As Head of Sustainability at the University of Lincoln, Rebecca is responsible for the delivery of the University’s Sustainability Strategy, which commits the University to embedding sustainability as a core value running throughout all activities undertaken by the organisation. A key element of the strategy is the University’s commitment to reducing carbon emissions by 60% by 2030, and to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2040. Rebecca is currently working with colleagues to develop a roadmap to achieving Net Zero, which will involve all areas of University operations.

Luke is the Founder & CEO of Bloe Health. A business developing a Natural & Novel Gut Health Supplement that addresses the root cause of gastrointestinal issues/disorders such as SIBO, IBS, Constipation and Bloating. Luke has been recognised as one of Lincolnshire’s 30 Under 30, Featured in the BBC and has presented a TEDx Talk. Luke has won multiple awards with Bloe Health and has spoken at the UN Headquarters in New York. Luke is helping to bring back normality to people’s lives in a sustainable way for both people and the planet.

Tony is Director of N4 Energy Solutions Ltd of Grimsby. Tony has recently been appointed as the Business Lincolnshire Specialist Low Carbon Adviser and is also a member of the Energy Council for the Greater Lincolnshire LEP. Tony is an energy and environmental specialist with over 35 years public sector management and corporate management team experience. A qualified refrigeration and building services design engineer with hands on experience of design, on-site inspection and commissioning of Energy Conservation Measures. Tony has extensive strategic and operational management experience, including the development and delivery of energy & carbon management plans at a Local Authority and regional level. N4 Energy Solutions Ltd are currently contracted to provide direct low carbon & environmental support to SME across Greater Lincolnshire and the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority areas.
Martha Vahl

Martha Vahl is Chair of Involve@Lincoln Limited, a Community Benefits Society. She has a background in research and community development and has worked for various Universities in the UK and the Netherlands She has lived in Lincolnshire since 1996 when the University of Lincoln was first established and she worked for the Department of Business and Law. Her main hobby is gardening and she also likes playing Backgammon in the Lincoln Backgammon Club.
